A fruit and nut sandwich recipe

One of the more popular sandwiches made with fruits and nuts.
Crush fine :
  • 1/4 pound  (± 125 g) of almonds
  • 1/2 pound (± 250 g) figs
  • 1/2 pound (± 250 g)  dates
  • 1/2 pound  (± 250 g) raisins
  • 1 pound  (± 500 g) pecan nuts
Mix them all well together and compact in a large enough container and leave over night.  It will be compacted so when needed, place container in hot water and loosen mixture with a fork or knife. The mixture can be added to bread with melted chocolate.  Add some cherries or other fruits.
